Dependants

If you are managing medication on behalf of someone else you can do this through the Weldricks App.

How you manage this will depend on the type of login you are using:

NHS Login:

The dependants you can manage is set by your GP surgery.

Please contact your surgery and ask for Link codes to be sent to you.

Once you have these you will be able to see their medication and order on their behalf.

You cannot amend the medication list as this comes directly from their NHS account. To request additions or removals you must contact your GP surgery.

If you are still experiencing issues adding dependants, please see the statement below:

We are so sorry you are experiencing this difficulty.

The linking of dependants through the weldricks app and NHS login is not only a Weldricks APP issue it is because the NHS have, in some areas of the country, introduced a ban on ordering some repeat prescriptions by email, the method used by Non-NHS logins, and so the NHS login and direct connection to your GP surgery must be used.

As a temporary solution until this is set up logout from your NHS connection in the app by clicking;

  • More
  • Settings
  • Security
  • Unlink from GP online services

  •  you can then manually add in your dependants and their medication information.

To order for your dependents at a different surgery, please use the information above as NHS login does not currently support linking between sugeries.

If you are not using NHS Login:

  1. Click more (bottom left)
  2. Click on Profile
  3. Dependants
  4. Add dependant.

When you have added the dependant you will be able to add or remove the medication as required.
